Is BCS affiliated with/subsidized by any particular church or denomination?
While started in 1982 by a small group of people from Bulverde Baptist Church, Bracken Christian School is not associated with a church or denomination.   [Top]
Is BCS a fully accredited school?

What grade levels are available at BCS?
Bracken Christian School offers a Christian education from pre-kindergarten through high school.   [Top]
Is technology offered at BCS?
  All classrooms have at least one computer (some have more) and students may take advantage of two complete computer labs.  Our campus is fully connected, via fiber optic and high speed cable, allowing collaboration across campus. Administration and teachers have secure, high-speed access to the Internet.   [Top]
 
Does Bracken offer a fine arts program?
Yes! Bracken offers elementary music and art, as well as middle school art and music. We also offer art, drama, choir and praise band as high school electives. [Top]
 
What sports are currently offered at BCS?
  The Bracken Christian School sports program includes football, cheerleading cross country and volleyball in the fall; basketball and cheerleading in the winter; and track, golf, and tennis in the spring.
How many students are currently enrolled?
We are excited to have approximately 310 students in all fourteen grades (pre-kindergarten through high school) for the 2007-2008 school year.   [Top]
Does BCS accept federal or state funding?
 Bracken is primarily funded by tuition and the generous gifts of our Bracken family. While we do submit grants to foundations that fund Christian organizations, we will never solicit nor receive grant money that causes the compromise of our Christian foundation or principles  [Top]
Do we have to be born-again Christians in order for our children to attend BCS?
