It is with a grateful heart that we write this "thank you" note regarding the 2008 gala. You may have heard by now that God blessed us with $63,800!! This gift proves once again that His people can never outgive Him. His provisions are too far reaching to comprehend. We feel this is His way of saying that Bracken has His blessing to move forward. This year was extra special, as we all reflected on the past 25 years while raising finances for the future.  

     The gala will always hold a special place in our hearts. Year after year, the gala team works together towards a common goal. The sharing, laughter, prayers and tears are memories that we will personally carry for a lifetime. A HUGE thank you goes out to Linda Knapick, Michelle Sands and Annette Lewis. Their faithfulness to use their gifts and talents for God help to make the gala a huge success.   

     Thank you also to everyone who served the gala in any way. Your creativity, calls, errands and everything in between reflect personal servanthood. Our prayer is that God will bless all of you for your giving hearts. 

     An added blessing as we celebrated our 25th anniversary this year was the opportunity to get acquainted with our new Bracken families. Their enthusiasm before and during the gala is always refreshing. Our children are the common thread that bring old and new families together. 

     Have a wonderful continued school year. We look forward to next year's gala as we "shop the Serengeti."
