The Elementary Principal is expected to uphold the vision, mission and values of Bracken Christian School. The Elementary Principal will strive to provide the best possible opportunities for faculty/student growth and development, academically, spiritually and personally.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• Minimum: Has a master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Holds (or is eligible to hold) a certificate in teaching.

Experience: 

• Minimum: Three years of professional teaching experience.
• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony.
• Proven ability to embrace the responsibility for being a spiritual role model for students.
• Skilled in managing, delegating and evaluating staff.
• Thorough understanding of curriculum and educational program requirements.
• Proficient in communicating complex ideas and concepts.

Major Responsibilities and Duties: 

• In collaboration with the Head of School, implement goals for elementary according to strategic objectives established by the administration and the board, while following internal policies and educational best practices
• Coach and train faculty to utilize various instructional best practices to meet student learning needs in conjunction with STREAM Director and Academic Dean
• Direct the daily academic operations of the elementary through supervising the faculty and staff, coordinating activities and setting the tone to ensure quality education
• Act as the ACSI teacher certification and CEU coordinator for the campus
• Maintain high level of confidentiality, ethics and professionalism
• Perform regular teacher observations and evaluations and in collaboration with the Academic Dean and STREAM Director
• Facilitate and assist with the vertical alignment of campus curriculum and instruction in collaboration with all academic leaders
• Conduct conferences with parents and teachers to resolve conflicts, discuss problems, share information and establish goals in conjunction with the Head of School

• Preferred: Master’s degree for dual credit.

• Holds (or be eligible to hold) a teaching certificate in science.

You will know how to organize a class, make learning history meaningful and an enjoyable process. You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• Has a Bachelor’s degree in history, social studies or equivalent and/or education from an accredited college or university, along with a proven track record in biblical teaching. 
• Preferred Masters degree for dual credit classes.

• Holds (or be eligible for) a secondary teaching certificate.

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 

• Proven experience as a middle school, high school, or college teacher.
• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony
• Prior Christian school experience
• Experience teaching dual credit classes.

You will be responsible for preparing and advising programs and goals that actively engage students in activities, giving engaging instruction, and building strong relationships with students. You will know how to organize a class, make learning science meaningful and an enjoyable process. You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely manner.

You will be teaching Secondary Science 3 days per week. This is a hybrid class, lessons are prepared for in class and at home.

• Holds (or be eligible to hold) a teaching certificate in science.

Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to partner with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

In this role, you will focus on student leadership, positive culture and the development of servant leaders while developing Bracken’s current 2A 6-man football program. You will also be responsible for scheduling practices, games and overseeing the middle school football program. This position requires attendance at all practices, games and events. Other coaching and teaching positions may be available in conjunction with the Head High School 6-man football coach position.

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited college or university

Experience: 

• Minimum 5 years coaching 6-man football.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony.
• Prior Christian school experience.

Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to partner with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.

You will be assisting the volleyball head coach in training, developing, and supervising the team while incorporating a biblical worldview. Flexible schedule to coach after school and some weekend tournaments, attend all games and take stats during matches.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years experience coaching volleyball.
• Played high school or college volleyball. 
• Familiar with TAPPS or UIL high school volleyball rules.
• Knowledge and ability to take stats during matches.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work with youth, parents and fellow coaches and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times.
• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony.
• Must hold a current CPR certification.
