The fun doesn’t have to stop at dismissal! Whether you’re a working parent or need a little extra time to make it back to campus, our After-School Care Program offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students after the school day ends.
Students enjoy a variety of activities designed to keep them engaged and happy, including playground time outdoors, free play in different areas, and structured activities. Our staff creates a safe, nurturing environment where every student can relax, have fun, and build friendships while extending their day in a Christ-centered space. At Bracken, after-school programs extend the day with a perfect balance of learning, creativity, and play, all while nurturing a love for Christ and community.
After-School Care is offered from the end of the school day until 5:30 P.M., Monday through Friday for K4–5th grade students whose families need coverage beyond regular school hours. Please note that care is not available on half days.
Because elementary students dismiss at different times, billing begins at 3:30 P.M., the official program start time. Children arriving before 3:30 are billed from 3:30, and those arriving later are billed from their check-in time.
Registration Fee: $50 per student (one-time charge)
Hourly Rate: $10 per hour (charges are not prorated within the hour)
Each day, a snack is provided at no additional cost, though families are welcome to send their own if they prefer. Students participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, depending on the weather. On very hot, cold, or rainy days, all activities take place indoors to keep students safe and comfortable.
Parents may pick up their child from either the playground or the downstairs elementary hallway.
After-Care closes promptly at 5:30 P.M. A late pick-up fee of $5 per minute will be charged after this time.
After-Care is designed to support families who truly need childcare due to work commitments or unexpected circumstances. To keep the program running smoothly and ensure every child receives the best care, it is not intended for running errands or filling time during extracurricular activities. Students may not attend After-Care while an older sibling is participating in an after-school program, class, or practice.
